Large areas around Athens have been repeatedly burned in the last decade because of human dissatention. These areas must be reforested for the well being of the coming generations. This attempt can be implemented only through human intervention.
AZA started in the year 2010 to partially implement this project. Due to the fact that the area is too large, needing five million trees to be planted, the entire project has no time limitation. Every time AZA has collected a sufficient amount of donations or sponsorships, it reforests a new area by applying the tree planting system SAFE TREE, with zero watering water.
